when collecting bark from a living pine tree, be gentle and moderate with your harvest.
We carefully peeled pine bark chips from the living tree or chopped the inner layer from birch fire wood pieces.
Placed in a cloth and with a heavy hammer, we crushed it into smaller pieces, this was then put into a grinder to make smooth bark flour.
