Tree Bread

2 Parts Bark Flour (Birch or Pine, finely ground to powder)

4 Parts Flour

Water

just a little oil

a bit of salt

Wow, have you ever tasted a landscape, sensed it with your taste buds? How does the North taste? A bit of resin, a bit of wood. Yes there are a lot of trees. Mostly birch and pine. Cut the dough into little 1 1/2 inch balls, roll out round and flat. Then some typical kitchen tools are used to get this distinct crisp bread pattern in, some holes pierced with this spider like folk, otherwise bubbles would form in the oven.  Bake till golden brown and serve with juniper garlic butter.
