How i received a welsh Title in Trefor’s Workshop:
Bernadette is the female form of Bernhard, meaning “strong bear”. In the well known legend of King Arthur he also earns the name “bear”. In welsh, cryf means “strong” and arth means “bear” – a title of honor bestowed upon welsh clog maker Trevor Owens.
Taking the reigns in our own hands and following our own hopes and dreams can ask a lot of ourselves. We can’t always feel strong, reaching our limits, getting helplessly caught up in the flow of life and feeling the Cryfarth in us than a strong bear. No heroes without enemies. No legends without the monsters that stand in our way.
